24. Pulling it Together - Indicators#

24.1. Summary#

This chapter of the course focuses on summarizing the analysis developed in previous classes into indicators to provide quantitative information about the crisis extent at different geography levels. Generating these type of indicators help users to organize the information and get a broader picture of the situation. This class presents two types of indicators: Households and Communities, and Industry and Commerce.

The following analysis, used as an example, was performed by the World Bank’s Data Lab in response to the Gaza-Israel conflict.

24.2. Learning Objectives#

The main goal of this class is to teach students to summarize different types of analysis into meaningful quantitative indicators for Households and Communities, and Industry and Commerce.
