Consistent tagging makes content discoverable across the Hub. This chapter defines the standard tags for World Bank geospatial content.

Applying Tags in AGOL#

  1. Open the item in ArcGIS Online

  2. Click Edit on the item details page

  3. Scroll to Tags section

  4. Add tags following the standards above

  5. Click Save

Quality Checks#

Before publishing, verify:

  • Country/region tag present

  • Content type tag present

  • At least one sector tag (for thematic content)

  • Tags follow format rules (lowercase, underscores)

  • No duplicate or redundant tags
