Economist passionate about spatial data and poverty analysis
Eduard Bukin is an experienced economist, data scientist, and statistician spending the last decade at the World Bank, UN, and academia. His career has focused on econometrics, economic research, microeconomics, and statistics, with a strong emphasis on empowering non-specialists to extract insights from complex datasets and effectively communicate analyses through interactive web tools, and artificial intelligence.
Key technical expertise lies in the use of modern data science technologies and programming languages such as R, Python, STATA, and GIS tools. He holds a Master’s degree in Rural Development from Ghent University and pursues a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from Justus Liebig University Giessen.
